Tertium Society members are entitled to a 20% discount for every book they buy.

Regular customers are entitled to a 10% discount for every book (from the fifth order on).

Bookshops and wholesalers are kindly requested to contact us to establish terms of cooperation.

You can choose a payment method and a type and cost of shipment.

§1

What follows are Terms and Conditions of the provision of services of the online store www.tertium.edu,pl called henceforth the Store, run by the Cracow Tertium Society for the Promotion of Language Studies, based at al. Mickiewicza 9, 31-120 Kraków. NIP:6771696818, REGON 350970546.

§2

Za towary uważamy książki, czasopisma i inne produkty, których zakupy realizowane są poprzez stronę internetową www.tertium.edu.pl. Przekazanie zakupionego towaru Zamawiającemu odbywa sie poprzez wysyłkę pocztową, ewentualnie (po wcześniejszym uzgodnieniu) poprzez odbiór osobisty przy ulicy 29 listopada 130 pok. 407, w Krakowie.

§3

In order to purchase goods in the Store, the Ordering Party selects the goods from the Store's offer presented on the website http://www.tertium.edu.pl/ and then places an order on the Store's website using the order form. The Store's offer is binding for the period of its presentation on the above-mentioned website and until the stock of a given title is exhausted in the warehouse.

§4

The price displayed next to the title does not include the shipping fee. The cost of delivery will be added to the price of the purchased goods, after the Ordering Party chooses the form of payment. The final cost of the order includes: the price of the goods and the cost of shipping the goods. The ordering party may be asked for an additional payment to the cost of shipping the goods, if the shipping costs generated automatically through the Store's system will be lower than the actual shipping cost of the goods in accordance with the appropriate price list of the postal operator.

§5

The Tertium Society makes every effort to ensure that the Store's offer corresponds to reality as closely as possible. Due to the possibility of unintentional errors in updating the content of the Store's website (prices, configuration or technical parameters), the information contained on the website cannot be treated as an offer in the light of the requirements of the Civil Code.

§6

The condition for the shipment of goods is obtaining the order confirmation by the Ordering Party in the form of an e-mail from the address provided on the Store's website, and then the clicking by the Ordering Party on the indicated link in the confirmation e-mail message received. If the Ordering Party chooses to pay by bank transfer, an additional condition is that the amount due is credited to the Store's bank account. If the money is not transferred to the account after 14 days from the date of order confirmation - the order will be removed from the system and the store reserves the right not to send the goods.

The Store is not responsible for blocking by mail server administrators the sending of messages to the e-mail address indicated by the Ordering Party and for removing and blocking messages by the software installed on the computer used by the Ordering Party. If the order is not confirmed by the Store within two working days, please contact us by e-mail or by phone - contact details are available on the Store's website.

§8

Orders are processed in the order in which they were received.

§9

If the stocks of goods in the warehouse are exhausted, relevant information will be placed on the Store's website in the description of the goods.

§10

When an order covers several items of goods, it may occasionally be difficult to obtain all ordered goods. In this case, after consultation with the Ordering Party, the order may be processed over a longer period of time in order to minimise delivery cost. At the request of the Ordering Party, the Store may divide the bulk order into several batches, each time charging the Ordering Party with the shipping costs of a given batch of goods.

§11

Standard orders for goods are processed within 14 working days from the moment the payment is credited to the Store's account. In the event of difficulties with the execution of the order, the Ordering Party will be informed immediately. The delivery date may be extended for reasons beyond the Store's control. The store is not responsible for late delivery by the postal operator.

§12

Priority orders for goods are processed within a maximum of 7 business days from the moment the payment is credited to the Store's account. In the event of difficulties with the execution of the order, the Ordering Party will be informed immediately. The delivery date may be extended for reasons beyond the Store's control. The store is not responsible for late delivery by the postal operator. Priority orders can be carried out by means of priority letters or parcels by the Polish post, express letters or InPost parcel machines / parcels. On special request, it is possible to ship the order via EMS Pocztex courier.

§13

An order for goods purchased in the Store will be processed if it contains the recipient's address and telephone number as well as their e-mail address. In the event of reasonable suspicion that false data have been provided or of fraudulent intentions of the Ordering Party, the Store reserves the right to suspend the shipment of the goods.

§14

The Store offers a form of payment by bank transfer - the shipment will be sent to the address indicated by the Ordering Party after the amount corresponding to the value of the ordered goods has been credited to the Store's bank account.: Bank Spółdzielczy Rzemiosła Kraków account number PL94 8589 0006 0000 0011 0640 0001, SWIFT CODE: POLUPLPR Only legal persons (by prior arrangement) can receive an order with a postponed payment period.

§15

Cracow Tertium Society for the Promotion of Language Studies is not a VAT payer and therefore does not issue VAT invoices for purchases made.

§16

The document confirming the payment is the confirmation of the its transfer to the account of the Society.

§17

Once an order has been placed, it can only be cancelled electronically. Only an order that has not yet been processed (the goods has not been shipped) can be cancelled.

§18

In accordance with the provisions of the Act of March 2, 2000. on the protection of certain consumer rights and on liability for damage caused by a dangerous product (Polish Journal of Laws of 2000 No. 22, item 271, as amended), the Ordering Party may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods and immediately return the purchased goods. It is possible only if the purchased goods have not been damaged in any way. The received proof of purchase must be returned together with the goods. The Store guarantees the refund of the price for the purchased goods. The money will be immediately transferred to the bank account indicated by the Ordering Party after receiving the return shipment that meets the above-mentioned conditions. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the Ordering Party.

§19

In the event of a complaint about the goods, please immediately send the defective goods to the Store. In the case of books, defective goods are goods with defects that are not mentioned in the description of the goods on the Store's website, and are not the fault of the Ordering Party. The claimed shipment should be accompanied by a proof of purchase of the goods along with a description of the reason for the complaint. The Store does not accept cash on delivery complaints. In the event of a positive consideration of the complaint, the costs related to the return of the advertised goods will be reimbursed to the bank account indicated by the Ordering Party, immediately after receiving the shipment and accepting the complaint. If the complaint is justified, the product will be replaced with a fully-value product (if it is possible), and the cost of shipping the replaced product will be covered by the Store. In the absence of full-value goods in the Store's warehouse, the Store will refund the Ordering Party the full cost of the purchased goods to the bank account provided by the Ordering Party.

§20

The number of ordered titles is not limited, unless otherwise stated.

§21

The Store reserves the right to amend the present Terms and Conditions. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions are effective from the date of their publication on the Store's website. Orders placed before the date of introducing changes to the Terms and Conditions are implemented on the basis of the provisions in force on the date of placing the order.

§22

Manufacturer names and brands are the property of their respective owners and are provided for informational purposes only.

§23

Pursuant to the provisions of the Act of August 29, 1997. on the protection of personal data (Polish Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended), the Ordering Party's personal data will be entered into the Store's database only for the purpose of order shipment and will not be made available to other entities.

§25

In matters not regulated in the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code and the provisions of the Act on special conditions of consumer sales and the amendment to the Civil Code and the Act on the protection of certain consumer rights and liability for damage caused by a dangerous product shall apply.
