Dzieci jako tłumacze: psychologiczne, etyczne i społeczne aspekty pośrednictwa językowego

Abstract

Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest zjawisku dziecięcego brokeringu językowego, czyli nieprofesjonalnemu tłumaczeniu ustnemu wykonywanemu na rzecz jednojęzycznych krewnych lub znajomych. Celem artykułu jest przegląd literatury i filmu oraz wskazanie społecznych i naukowych kontekstów pośrednictwa językowego, określenie luki badawczej poprzez porównanie stanu badań za granicą i dysproporcji między publikacjami ukazującymi się w Polsce. Poruszony zostanie problem terminologiczny związany z nazwą brokeringu językowego. Następnie przedstawione zostaną etyczne i psychologiczne aspekty tłumaczenia środowiskowego oraz brokeringu językowego. Część praktyczna stanowi omówienie badania kwestionariuszowego na temat nastawienia i świadomości społecznej w zakresie pośrednictwa językowego. Przedstawione wnioski wskazują na złożoność tematu i konieczność kontynuacji badań nad dziecięcym pośrednictwem językowym.
